Because let's be honest, this is pretty much what the show is at this point. That is a nice poster, wonder if we are going to see aircraft carriers manned by girls. Given that in this series, heavier-then-air flight never seemed to have taken off (pun fully intended), I doubt it.

As they should, I didn't start watching Haifuri for the boys and their yaoi (who would ever watch something so gross?), I came for the cute Girls and the yuri undertones. And the plot of course.

Seems that girls are better with airplanes, tanks an ships, but then again nobody would watch a Japanese anime with boys doing that stuff.

Well of course, cute Girls are the bread and butter of anime. While there can be said to be a varity of reasons for this (catering to the male demographic, catering to the female demographic, the director just likes it this way), it is quite noticeble that you never see anybody comment on all male casts as unusual. And keep in mind that it is very easy to slip into unfortunant implication teritory when suddenly a male character joins a cast dominated by woman. Iowa may be popular in Kancolle, but how do you think People would react if it had turned out Iowa was a man?

Not really, there are many animes out there With balanced casts, it is just that animes centered around one gender tend to stand out more.

That is true but the other hand i would not watch anime if the setting would be the other way around.

That is just all sorts of wrong and you would only want to live in such a place if you were a stalinist monster out to destroy everything good With the world.

Lucky i like the cute girls anime or the hero who get the harem anime a lot, a anime i also now following is Bakuon, a amine about girls ridding motorcycles and Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu about a a boy who is transported to another world and every time he dies the clock is out back to when he arrived to that world.

So Re: Zero is basicly Edge of Tomorrow With in a fantasy world? I am sorry but Konosuba has assured that I am no longer able to take any fantasy anime seriously again.

What happen that you do not like fantasy anime anymore. I was never particulary fond of it in the first place (thanks for that, SAO) but Konosuba has parodied or deconstructed pretty much every trope commonly seen in fantasy animes. I also really dislike harem animes and it seems Re:Zero is going to run headlong into those tropes.

But Girls should only love Girls, everything else is just wish fullfillment.
