Pyrrha Nikos(EMPRESS OF MAN!) from RWBY. She was one of the smartest, strongest and nicest (and possible most popular) members of the main cast and managed to survive three seasons worth of death flags, which meant that the writers decided to kill her off in the season three final. Some People are just to good for this sinful world.

If you are going to watch it, keep in mind that the first season is no indication of how the rest of the series is, the Third season is much darker then the rest. (Although not to Madoka or Evangelion Levels, it doesn't get that dark.)

Have any of you ever watched a series that seemingly everybody praises but you yourself can't stand? For me it is Angel Beat and Clannad, Clannad is just so boring and Angel Beat's timeline just tries way to hard.

I have actually never watched Naruto. Guess I am a rebel in that area, but I prefer Shorter series. Although I hope No Game No Life, Good Luck Girl and School life get a second season because I enjoyed those. I also can't stand Yuki Yuna is a Hero, it had crappy worldbuilding, a plot that had no idea what it wanted to do, an ending that only happened because the director had written himself into a corner, a localisation team that was only there for the paycheck and had a cast full of hypocrites.

Absolutly not, I like Love Live: Gay Idol Project to (Maki is best idol) though that is the only idol anime I have seen so far. You shouldn't be afraid of admitting to liking cute Girls but if you want an idol anime With a lot of action then I recommend Sympogears. It starts a little slow but it gets better as it goes along (seriously, the first season ends With the protagonists blowing up a chunk of the moon).

I personally dislike harem animes because it just smacks to much of wish-fullfillment in my opinion and the male main character always tends to be boring while surounded by far more interesting side characters.

But it is always fun to watch. That Depends on the quality of writing, it is far to easy to have the main character end up looking like a jerk or an idiot. Or end up as an eight hour long snorefest like Clannad.

Sakura Trick has set the bar for what I expect of yuri animes. While the characters are nothing to Write home about and the plot almost never showed up, it contained exactly what I wanted from a yuri anime: lots of yuri. There was so much yuri here that it almost makes the cast from Yuruyuri look straight by comparsion. And even if you are not that much into yuri this series is very fanservice heavy (there is a point where two of the Girls grope Haruka's rather large chest, purely for fanservice reasons) so you have something to look at anyway. Also the opening and ending songs are incredible catchy.
