Seems there is a tiny mistake on Jan 15, 2019: Island of Rono/Rønø? Do you mean Rømø? Would i think be Island of Rønø, but i do not have the ø on my keyboard. That's no problem, but I'm certain you mean Romo, that Danish island in the North Sea right north of (German) Sylt. WP doesn't know Rono. (Not saying such an island doesn't exist.)

Two typos on this page:"Du bist ein guter Mensch", April 17th "There are bread, milk and meat shortages in Oslo." April 18th On this page, you mentioned Michael Savage's death twice, for 26th and 27th. German, English and Dutch WPs say the latter date is correct. Yes, that's often a problem if events happen during the night. I also thought about nitpicking "Todt" being the German word for death/dead, but it once was a valid German spelling, so we can leave it.

You're welcome. But now I have a question: "In February and March 1940 Welles visited Italy, Germany, France ... England". Why him and not Secretary of State Cordell Hull? Such an important journey would be done by the Secretary, not the Under-. Is there a deeper reason for this?

He wasn't Jewish, gay (while Welles was bisexual), or freemason... WP says FDR and Hull simply had a bad relationship, that's why the snub. Which opens the question why FDR kept him at all. Politics?

The Trolls found this: FDR’s Diplomatic Initiative to MussoliniAnd Welles himself answer the question why he was send in 1946 in his introduction to the Ciano Diary: “…I was sent by President Roosevelt as his personal representative to visit the capitals of the Allied nations and of the two Axis powers in order to report to him upon the situation in Europe and upon the possibilities for the establishment of a just and lasting peace. As it is now well known, no such possibilities existed.”

Ah, thanks. But now for something different: I'd like to peruse one quote of you for my TL. This one, to be precise:
"This, my friends, is how wars actually are fought, many little wars in the midst of the larger one."-Lordroel
Means: I'd like to actually have it cited by one character in my TL/book. You know which one. Only condition: It has to be said by one character who either was born in OTL 1940 or earlier, or by a completely fictional character born after that. Other than that, nationality, status and such don't matter, as long as it makes sense that he says it. He might be a veteran, a historian, or so.

If i am a lord it means i am British, thus most likely a royal navy veteran.

Well you still have a monarchy in the Netherlands but don't you have any nobility? Or are you assuming that the comment must be made by someone who's nation is a combatant and your safely out of it in this one?

We got Jonkheer and Ridder (title) in the Netherlands, but that does not sound right does it, Jonkheer Roel ore Ridder Roel.

The character doesn't actually have to be named Lord Roel, or Lord/Roel at all. Feel free to choose any name you like.
