Given the age, it has to be Hellenistic, and belonging to someone very important. Of course, you already have people talking about Alexander, but that doesn't fit with what we know from the literature because he had a different kibd of sarcophagus and it was documented more recently. Of course, I'm hoping for a Ptolemy, but I'm guessing a senior official.

Was thinking that as well, even was searching from a good mummy picture stepping out of a casket to wreck havoc on the world, but i could not find any good one to use here. |

Looks interesting. As you say pretty damned unlikely it's Alexander but just possibly might be one of the Ptolemies as you say, although more likely an official.

Sorry my reply to Raunchel's joke about opening the sarcophagus and releasing whatever abomination is trapped in there. Basically some power uses a nuke to stop her and/or try and destroy what's released and of course seeking to find a suitable scapegoat. Apologies for any confusion or if you think I went over the top.  |

Damn it! I told you we needed that assassin quickly! Its too late now as Raunchel's opened the thing. They think their found the bodies of what looks like three soldiers from the Ptolemaic period and some red ooze but gods only know what's been released. 
See black sarcophagus opened., for the actual details. Given how large it is I wonder if it might be someone from the original Ptolemy's personal circle.
