So as you all can the forum is add free again until it reaches the 100,000 add free pages for the month.

Well i want the best for my members, having it ad-free is the least what i can do, i doubt that this forum will surpass the 100,000 page views per month, that is unless AH.com has a blackout again which increase the visit to this forum. |

Just seen this thread and rather ironic in a way. Last weekend while trying to get a game working in hotseat mode the mate I game with, who's a lot more computer savvy than me cleared out a lot of junk and put some things on the PC including an ad blocker. Have been getting messages since then about the ad blocker and after seeing him again last night - with the holidays had our weekly gaming session a bit early - I allowed proboards exemption from the adblocker as I had never noticed a problem with ads before. Sounds like that's been because we having been getting adds displayed before so if it happens again I might remove that exemption if their a problem. As it happened all that work was largely pointless as it turned out the game - a mod of a mod of a Total War game - didn't actually have an hotseat mode but there is another mod of it which does!  |
