Alternate Timelines is a small but busy alternate history forum.
Today it is three years old. "Happy Birthday" was sung.
It is a place where alternate history is discussed and much creative writing done.
There are thriving Chat and PolChat sections plus much anime discussion too.
Maps, graphics: it's all being represented.
The forum is run by our commanding admiral with staff support. These are staff who are involved in the forum.
The admin takes an active role: he doesn't drop in once a week. He built this for us to use and remains fully committed to it.
There is no back-biting, sharp remarks or rudeness on the forum (now and surely not in the future). Disagreements are allowed; spitefulness is not.
The admin uses features to makes trolls and spam-bots walk the plank before they can disturb the forum. It isn't magic... it can be and is done here.
This is a growing place. Believe me. Ten per cent of all members (including one-time sign-ups) have been online in the last twenty-four hours. That is a lot compared to other forums.

Some ideas: take out some of my text, there is a little too much. Maybe add one of those maps of nuke strikes you have posted recently, the Dutch one would look better?

Now you say that, it has already been shown on Facebook group Alternate History Online and on the Official Alternate Timelines Group on Twitter but i might think of working on it. |
