You mean compare Canadians with Americans. I meant the moose that go around everywhere, their permant niceness and their worshipping of maple leaves and hokey. A that, well think some are true and some are not.

Lordroel Just remember if you do visit the north of the country not to play with the local wildwife. [The authorities dislike people feeding the local polar bears. ] Actually the one time I've been abroad was to Alberta when we visited some family there. Characteristics I found were: a) They eat like Americans - i,e, very, very large meals. Coupled with a desire to drive everywhere, even inside small rural towns this meant the people we visited were rather large shall we say, b) An obcession with bears, Often stopping to view any that appeared. Not for hunting, just for seeing and surprising how close they would get at time. c) Generally very modest and polite, i.e. definitely not like the stereotype for the US. Anyway, have a good holiday.

So Montréal is a Canadian version of Paris but without the Eifeltower, the Louvre and some other things that Paris has.
