I have Civ 4, Civ 5, CivBE, and Civ 6. Got Civ 5 when it was new in 2010, and I loved it immediately . From there, I pre-ordered one of the expansions, only for it to go on sale shortly after it was released properly. By way of apology, I got given a free copy of Civ 4, but I just couldn't get into it . I think it's because it lacks many of the 'quality of life' features that Civ 5 has, and I'd just taken those for granted. I actually liked CivBE more than most people did, although, the expansion turned it into a mess: trade routes became so overpowered that they broke the game, and this was never fixed . Civ 6 is very good, if frustratingly slow at times. Or maybe I'm just not playing correctly!

Well i do not have Civ 6, but do like to play Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution for DS and Civilization Revolution 2 for my Iphone.

I don't have any of the mobile or handheld ones myself. Mainly because I don't own a handheld gaming system, and my phone is a cheapo budget one .

To bad they couldn't have someone who actually spoke Dutch Coach the narrator, her prouncements of "grote rivieren", "de Seven Provincien" and "Radio Oranje" are painfull to listen to.

Well that is why i play Civilization V: Gods & Kings where you can play as William I of the Netherlands.

I have the expansion for Civ 6 - and, for the most part, I enjoy it - although, I haven't played at the Netherlands yet. They sound like a good civ for economic players like myself, though .

Personally, I don't play as the USA very often, mainly because the USA (and its founding ideals) are relatively modern, and imagining them in 4000 BC is just weird. "What if Rome survived to the modern era?" is an interesting what-if - but, "What if the USA existed in the ancient era?" is just immersion-breaking for me .

I do not play scenarios much, like to just play as a city on a giant continent and build a large empire and defeat everybody else.

Yeah, same. I'll sometimes play the scenarios if I want a slightly different experience, but usually I just play the regular gameplay.

Enjoy the game, then ! (Reminds me: I still need to finish my Scotland game ) I am liking it so far, to shame the DLC rise and fall cost more than the game itself, otherwise i also would have bought it.
